Full meaning satisfied

Where was i yesterday?In college the whole day attending the 1st ever Gastronomic-tourism conference held in KDU college!It started of with the four keynote speaker,Dato' Chia Chee Fun,then Dato'Teo then the four keynote speakers,Ms.Brown(AFC channel founder),Ms.Barbara,Professor David Foskett and Chef Wan.

Chef Wan speaks like a train and he is a very fluent speaker.Just imagine talking none stop without full stop for 15 minutes.He is so nice to even defend our Malaysian delicacies and he even shared his some of his life story with us.Chef Rene Stein in action.Showing some of the molecular science cooking demonstration.
The icy cold food which crunch on the outside because it has an outer layer of ice at the outside and creamy texture in the inside.
Smoked Salmon can also be produced using molecular science man!

The conference ended at 5.oopm and after that it was autograph session with Professor David Foskett and then dinner was served at 7.15 pm.It was like a Malaysian Gastronomic meal as they served "satay.ice-kachang,curry mee.pasembor,kuih muih",not forgetting lamb too....No pictures of food because i was way too hungry to even snap it.It was a buffet dinner and we could eat all we want after all we paid Rm 50 and it was worth every cent man.Served us four meal and dinner was mouth watering and i went back with a belly full of scrumptious meal!

Chris Daughtry is Coming to MALAYSIA

Guess who?Guess who?It's CHRIS DAUGHTRY babe!He is confirm coming down to Malaysia!I've just got this shocking news from my friend.(thanks Yok Hoong).One word to summarize this post....OMFG(oh my F###ing G#d)

Well rest and hell YEAH i need it!

First ever Gastronomic Conference will be held in KDU college tomorrow and hell yeah i will be there firom 8 a.m till 11p.m wearing formal the whole day because it is a Conference which means,a few VIP will be there!I've just check it out and i noticed our own very Chef Wan and Chef Rene Stein from Germany will be there also!Who are they?Here is some pictures.

I Love YOU Tuesday

Why i love Tuesday?Well it's a hectic day in college,Love it!Next,2 practical class in a day,Food Production and Garde Manger,4 hours each which means cooking and eating and more eating from left over after food service!Well today is my group to sell and guess what we manage to sold out our fish dish,WHY is it?It is obviously of the COOKS who put so much TLC into our meal!"Chef" Dian,Justin and Charity.(Forgotten to take picture but i will try to find a picture).While selling which we are suppose to actually "stand" and not loitering around!Guess what,I "mengular" and went to the other class and tasted thier food!Well what do you expect from a so call "glutton" like me??



At 12 something,we decided to close shop and we packed and we ate the left overs!Sat and rot there for another 1 hour plus,waiting for the next class with Mr.Gerhad aka German Chef lecturer!Class was normal.Mise-en-place,Preparation and lastly Eat lo....Food was on Finger food and there was hell lots of food and we the piranhas manage to eat it up because why we have a lot of "tong Sampah" and more "tong sampah".



2 more days to the Gastronomic conference held in KDU and let me see...I can't wait for it la!"Kinda of"

It has been two days since they crown the new American Idol and it is no other than Mr.WORDNERD or DAVID COOK!Well i gotta say this again,you deserve it hands down and seriously i can't wait for his album to come out!

I'm currently addicted to his latest single which is the winning song,"Time of my Life" and I'm seriously addictive to it as i keep listening to it over and over again!I'm currently having this "David Cook mania" in my brain now and i don't know when it is gonna stop....Maybe never because I'm a die hard fan man!WooHOOOo!

While i was browsing David Cook on Youtube,guess what?I found a video of David Cook and David Archuleta doing a commercial with Guitar Hero,and u must say it is freaking hilarious to see both David with a guitar without his pants...OMG!Enjoy the winning song and the commercial!

We Have a new American Idol

OMG!Guess what.....Result is out and I've been awake since 8a.m to watch the American Idol finale and by 10am like that,they announce the result!Over 90 over million volt was casted.Earlier in the show,Ryan Seacrest told that one of the David receive 56% of the vote and the other David 44% of the vote and then i figured out it must be David Archuleta who is gonna win and GUESS what i was wrong.....DAVID COOK WAS THE CLEAR WINNER and his winning song was "Time of my life" and it was super duper nice man!

DAVID COOK ROCKSFinal words....CONGRATULATION TO BOTH DAVID AND BIG SHOUT OUT TO MR.DAVID COOK FOR BEING THE MAN!I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIS ALBUM AND I GOT TO SAID ONE LAST TIME...DAVID COOK YOU'RE THE MAN AND YOU DESERVE IT.HANDS DOWN

What a Spectacular Night

Indeed what a spectacular night for the two David's to sing at the finale.I've just watch it and I must say it is one of the best episode ever!The theme was "boxing" as both contestant came out in boxing robe and through out they show they showed boxing scene in between making the whole Finale like a boxing match.

Round 1-Clive Davis Choice

And this what Mr.Clive has choose for David Cook-"I still haven't found what I'm looking for".As usual Randy and Paula Love it but Simon was not a big fan of it.Personally i think that it was nice indeed.

Next up,it was David Archuleta's turn and Mr.Clive has chosen,"don't let the sun go down on me" and all 3 judges LOVE it!

Round 2-Writter's choice

This is where 10 songs were short listed by the unknown song writers from America and both contestants were given the choice to choose 1 out of 10 short listed song.I've personally heard all 20 entries and i must said,It is BLOODY good!

David Cook choose "dream big" and it was kinda a fast tempo pop song and he managed to make it a rock version and it was nice.After the performance,it was OK.Randy was not a big fan,Paula like it and Simon doesn't felt it was a winning song(that winning song x-factor).I personally love it!Hands Down!

Next it was,David Archuleta's choice and he choose "in this moment" and it was kinda a ballad which has high note in it!The original was nice and when David sang it,it was splendid!All 3 judges love it and Simon again gives round 2 to David Archuleta.

Round 3,Final round-Contestant Choice

David Cook's choice was "the world i know" and it was a slow song and after the performance he actually connected with the song and he cried.Paula gave him a standing ovation,Randy like it and Simon wished he picked other song like "Billie jean" or "Baba o Riley" i think.

David Archuleta's choice was "imagine" and as usual he did a nice job.All 3 judges love it.

Simon final words, "it was a knockout round" which won by David Archuleta.

Well guess what,as i was listening to hitz 20 this morning on Hitz.Fm guess what DJ Ean said,"Simple Plan will be coming down to perform in KL somewhere around this year".My 1st reaction,Stoned and then i was overjoyed and then I said to myself this time i have to go as i missed on their first gig here in KL.Well it's time to save up some cash,join more contest and do whatever i can to go that SIMPLE PLAN concert!

Next,as i was browsing my friends blog,guess what?According to her PARAMORE IS also coming down to KL.It has not been confirm but I'm crossing my finger.

And Finally my favourite,AMERICAN IDOL finale is this Wednesday at 6 p.m(via telecast) and the next day is the result show which Star World is showing live at 8a.m and thank goodness i got no class on that day..FoooYOH!

Well another tiring day as i need to head to college in the morning for another seminar on"Gadding",talking about food handling and hygiene.Seminar started with as usual attendance and next to my shock a guy in charge told us that he will be taking our picture for the certificate and the license that we will be needing it for our future employment which is valid for 3 years starting from today!And what happen after 3 years......

We were told that seminar is from 9a.m till 1 p.m and when we walked in we receive another shocking news saying that our seminar is till 3.45 and as usual we were "shocked" la!

Overall i must say that lady speaker was funny,horny as most of her jokes are involving making love,making babies and requirement for having sex which has to do examples of a situation.

Well,that's all for the day as i got nothing interesting to blog about.Another hectic weekend as tomorrow i will need to leave to 1 Utama to go with my besties Melanie,Tammy and Pui Yee to go and hunt for Jo and Gi's last minute present and seriously i got no idea what to buy!Well luckily i won't be the only one thinking and cracking my head.....

As for now...Back to Idol Fever and i must stress this out as American Idol Finale is this Wednesday 5.00Pm at Star World.Sadly Star World won't be showing it live..BOO HOO....but Via telecast.Who Cares,just as long i get to see David Cook perform!Universe i Send this message out to you,please make sure America go for talent instead of popularity by making David Cook the winner instead of David Archuleta the Winner!

I've expected and i was RIGHT

OMG...People......American Idol Finale is next week already and guess what,I've the results from one of American Idol kaki,Yik Hoong as he is one of the American Idol fan like me!

Well straight to the point(Spoiler),Both DAVID's(Cook and Archuleta) are in the finale and that makes Syesha Mercado who is leaving the competition!I've expected it from the start that these both David's are gonna be in the finale which unless Jason is still in and which it will never happen(No offense to Jason's).

This mean that Both David Cook and David Archuleta in the finale,singing in on a new stage which is the Nokia Theater not Kodak Theater anymore!What will be they singing.....All i know is they will be singing 3 songs.... 1 of it will be the winning song,1 of judges choice and 1 song if their choice gua.I'm hoping that David Cook will choose "Always be my Baby" by Mariah Carey and David Archuleta chooses "Imagine" by John Lennon.I can't wait for the finale and the crowning of the new American Idol 2008 which it is the "Battle of The Davids".

IDOL FEVER

I must say thank you to my fellow blog n chef buddy,Yik Hoong for letting me to steal his masterpiece from his blog....Thanks a lot!

Today was the final 3 contestant to show of their talent on American Idol.It's the final 3,David Cook,David Archuleta,and Syesha Mercado.Tomorrow is d result show to determine the final 2 who is gonna sing at the Nokia theatre and who is the final two who is gonna sing the winning song!Most,importantly,next week on the 21st and 22ND of May(Malaysia timing as in America is on 20Th and 21st May),it will be the American Idol finale and i can't barely wait for it as i =;m currently having what people called for a die hard American Idol fan...IDOL FEVER!

What is my prediction for the final two?David Cook and David Archuleta.Funny to sat,both names are David as 1 of David(Cook) is 26 and the other David(Archuleta) is only 17years old!

By the way people...Here is some spoiler for those who haven't seen the Final 3 performance and for those who watched it,i hope u enjoyed it!

Let me summarize.Round 1 goes to Everybody as everybody did a fantastic job but for me, i personally love David Cook one.
Round 2,it was ok ok only!

Round 3,hands down David Cook!

SO overall,David Cook is the man!He rock the house OK!

This is a new 8TV programme as it started today and the title if this show is non other than......ready.....Kan Cheong Kitchen!As a chef student, as i watch this show i can't really describe it...I call iT "KAN CHEONG",Freaky which freakin Hilarious.

These contestant are male or female which can't cook or never ever in their life cooking, teaming up with a celebrity which can "cook".As for this episode KDU own Chef Zamzani is the guest judge.He is so Flamboyant man as he is very experience chef OK!Besides him is Chef Aris(Famous in Malaysia....GUa..Got a book also) and Malaysian singer,Damien.

I just can't wait for the next episode la!You will definitely laugh like mad!

A MAJOR Decision to be Make????

It's time again whereby I must make a decision.

What Major decision?A letter from KDU came.This time is not about money but making a choice whether to major in CULA(Culinary Arts) which is 80% Practical and PCT(Professional Chef Training) which is mostly on management!

Class Was rather Dry like always.After class,we all had to go to the computer laband do a Lecturer survey and i was loving it!Well at least i get to be honest once for all! I Slowly did the survey and thank goodnes i didn't blog on the comment section ok.

Next class was PDP.I didn't really listen as today lesson was on Essay and Report.But instead of listening to his lecture we all students had our own "lecture".

I am who I am....Lately or rather today,i felt a bit weird about myself!I do not know why but i just felt that I am not the same person as I was before! Have i Changed?Have i Matured enough?Or I'm just being a VainPOt!I'm Just not feeling it...it is as though I'm Me but I'm just not feeling it!I'm not the type of person who show one kind of face or bang the tantrum or being EMO or rather ignored anybody when I'm feeling under the BLUE!Well it is just who i am,it is up to you to accept the fact that I am the same person......Blogging has become one of the tool to express my feeling and letting me write all i want!

First Post of May!

Let Me start by saying Bye Bye April and welcome May!May is 1 hectic month as more and more people are celebrating thir birthday and more and more celebration.Birthdays like Jimmy Cheng Chee Hoe birthday is today(MAY 5th),then Denise my Besties is celebrating her birthday this Thursday(8th MAY) follow by MOthers Day(11th),then the Twins a.k.a Birthday on 18th and there are having a party at their Cribs,follow by both of my Parents birthday!More and more Birthday means more and more MOney is Spend rite unless i create my own Present.....Which will never happen except cooking Gua!

Whats next?Let me talk a bit bout today.....PAstry class was normal as we learned how to make Meringue and class was super short..Suprisingly as clas only lasted for about 1 hour 45 minutes then we are off!After class,decided to chill at KDU Sq with all of my girlie Besties like Cherry,Dian,Tammy,Denise,Melanie and Not forgetting Small Boy a.k.a El Winn and Khairy and met with one of Mel's old School buddy whose name is Alvin!Sat down...Talk crap...Laugh Like mad...Talk more crap....Then later decided to go upstair to check my Morale Studies result and gues what..."I GOT A FREAKING B"Congrats to the rest as nobody fail la,Thank goodness!

Well thats about all for now...I'm currently addicted to Mr.Gavin Degraw latest self titiled album...Songs are very nice....and i can't get over it...Another thing,American Idol is coming to an end as four of the idol battle it out with Rock and Roll theme thats means i can predict who will do pretty fine and who will screwed up.Who will Screwed up,i meant you JASON CASTRO,you and Rock and Roll......Hmmmm!My Favourite is stilll hanging on and i believe you will do super WeLL--->it's Mr.David Cook.Not forgeting Syesha and David Archuleta...Here is some pictures of the remaning American idol and the album i'm surrently listening to...Mr.Gavin Degraw self titled album!
