I've been super busy to update my blog due to the fact that I'm working this whole Raya and i really need the money DESPERATELY due to the fact i got 1 whole long list to do with the money....

Sorry folks for the lack of updates. Even though I'm super exhausted by the end of the day as i have to work minimum 10 hours and maximum 13++ to 15hours ++,i am not getting enough rest and sleep and i hope i don't get sick even though I'm feeling under the blue now...but I'm hanging in there..

I've been eating again and hoping that i do not gain anymore weight this holiday AGAIN because I've been constantly eating and enjoying good food like the other day i got to eat REAL ABALONE and BIRD NEST...LOL.Not only that,I've been facing smoked items,sweet and savoury food and i can't help but getting my hands on those foods..WHO CAN RESIST THE TEMPTATION....?

ARGH...HELP ME!

Upon success..

After few attempts to bake a simple butter cake,i finally baked a perfect Butter cake.For your info,it's 100% pure butter.

For your info for those who doesn't know this,it is time to know that those butter cake that you buy outside which are like RM 5 per block or RM10 for 3 blocks,don't fall for the trick and think that it is pure butter OK...A little secret!!

I don't think that these pictures can make you drool.It is just a simple butter cake..Thanks for the contributor(you know ho you are)

Ginger bread house progress..

Imagine a bunch of chef students going around the college aimlessly without having any idea on what on earth on where the hell are we suppose to head?

What exactly are finding,BOXES..BOXES and only BOXES!We are suppose to find for boxes and after for quite sometime we all got fed up and we decided to head out to and hunt for boxes and surprisingly we found PLENTY.

After that,we headed back to a crib and start doing our templates...

The most hardworking,Pui Yee,Dian and Charity and also Ronnie.I was suppose to contribute most of my effort but my effort was ended up to be a failure,not really failure but i was constantly got scolding for my clumsiness.

So what did i ended up doing?Cutting shapes but easy one......At least I'm contributing.

We are working on it....We are concentrating...... We are hardworking........

Sunday,My first encounter with Avril Lavigne Malaysia Fan Club.A nicer word for encounter will be gathering.It was kinda of a success even though the people who turn up is not as much as we expected but not to worries,there will be another gathering coming soon.

Aren't ginger bread suppose to be a cookies for indulgence?

Actually not exactly?You can make into a ginger bread house.And that will be my upcoming Patisserie 3 project or assignment.Students are gonna assemble a building/house or what so ever with nothing else but..GINGER BREAD.....

So it's time to put on my thinking cap and also my switch on my creative hands and lets build a ginger bread model......

I would like to thank,Ice Kachang for her "Moon cake Biscuit" which is so creative of her to make such a creative shapes until my mother don't want to eat it because it is too CUTE.This proves that,the appearance of the food can effect people too..That's true

Secondly,Vivien.She is so kind and she came to me today with this words,"Finish up the moon cake and i don't want to see anything but an empty Tupperware".And so i decided to go back and try it.....it turns out that it is nicer than what my dad brought it back from don't know where?

So this conclude my "presents" from my 2 "SS" friends.It is not my birthday also and i received Moon Cake presents from them...(Food was too nice until i forgotten to take a picture)

1)Justin and Dian w/Pui Yee:Glutinous Rice Ball filled with Crushed Peanuts served with sugar syrup and Santan.Juicy,sweet,succulent and Chewy?

2)Chee Lim and El Winn and their creative ideas which end up making a Pho Bo aka Beef Noodle which has the "umph"ness of Beef Noodle

3)Khairi,Joe,Boss Ronnie and Haris?:Together they made their "Almost Screwed Up"Spring Rolls but at least it came out to be Spring Roll

4)Afif and Jerrick and together they made Some type of Vietnamese Salad with chickens and shredded vegetables.It was so juicy and sour which compliment the whole salad.

5)Charity and her Not so spicy Chili Dip Sauce but Spicy just like her...

6)Pui Yee and her sweet succulent Deep Fried Fish with Caramel Sauce.

Amazing

It was an amazing show.What am i talking about?I am talking about "Stand Up For Cancer".It's a show aired in America in collaboration with international stars from "ABC,NBC and CBC network.This show is to raise awareness to the public on how deadly Cancer disease is and they also shared some of the most touching stories of cancer survivors ,and at the same time,public at home can donate any amount to the organization...not forgetting it was kinda touching especially one part where Josh Groban duet with a lady singer and sang "Imagine by John Lennon".


Not only that,there is song sang by international acts and to name a few,singers like Miley Cyrus,Leona Lewis,Carrie Underwood,Rihanna,etc.As you can see the album cover below,The Song is called "Stand Up" and the song was broadcast from another event called "Fashion Rocks".If you got a chance take a listen the song or you could ask from me and i will be delighted to share.




So what are we waiting for?Lets all Stand Up for Cancer and start making a difference to fight this deadly disease.You could start by stop smoking,eat more vegetables,eat less red meats,exercise regularly,reduce stress,etc......
